Lollying around London

Don't you like my titles...I think they are proof that I am sleep-deprived.

London is cold and rainy and busy. It is an interesting mix of old and new. You may see a really historic building next to a ultra sleek skyscraper. There is A TON to do in London and unfortunately, we only scraped the surface of what was available to do. Here are some highlights from our trip.

Met some wonderful people (and saw some FC friends) in London at church.

Outside the Buckingham Palace...perhaps they were discussing some important queenly business.

Where Parliament meets

Westminister Abbey where many royal couples have been married

Hop-on-hop-off bus with Big Ben in the background (well Big Ben is technically the bell inside the tower, so I guess we can't actually see it).

The London Eye--like many other popular structures in Europe it was built as a temporary structure, but was so popular they decided to make it permanent.

We took a bus tour the next day and were in a 7 car pile up on the motorway....we were rear-ended by this guy.

which pushed us in to these people

Which pushed into another large vehicle---luckily no one was seriously injured. I had some whiplash, but overall God was with us in this collision because it could have been so much worse.

However, the tour continued at Windsor Castle. This was right after the changing of the guards.

Then we went to Bath

Finally, Stonehenge which is a mystery to everyone.

The last day, we went to the Tower of London and saw the Crown Jewels...they were amazing.
